Current Topics in Agronomic Science is a non-profit scientific journal. Its funding comes exclusively from the institutional budget of the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo, Mexico, through the Dirección General de Investigación, Posgrado y Servicio (DGIPS), which oversees the Coordinación de Revistas Institucionales (CORI; Coordination of Institutional Journals). CORI is responsible for providing the tools and editorial processes for publishing accepted contributions. The funds received are used to support editorial operations, digital distribution, copyediting, translation, and indexing services.

The journal does not ask authors to pay any article processing charges (APC) and receives no income from subscriptions, advertising, or content sales.

Current Topics in Agronomic Science does not accept or publish commercial advertising. The journal has no financial agreements or income derived from the promotion of commercial products or services, thereby guaranteeing editorial independence and the absence of conflicts of interest in its content.
