ISSNe: 2395-9177   |   ISSN: 0185-9439

The Textual. Análisis del medio rural (Textual. Analysis of the rural environment) journal publishes results of unpublished scientific and technological research. This journal aims to provide an international space for the dissemination and discussion of research results with a multidisciplinary perspective in the field of social sciences and related areas, with a special emphasis on rurality in Mexico and Latin America.
Proposals submitted for evaluation must not have been previously published, nor be under review in a similar process in another journal. Neither will preliminary, incomplete, or inconsequential research papers be accepted.
The Textual. Análisis del medio rural journal has been published by the Universidad Autónoma Chapingo since 1979, under an open-access dissemination policy (available online). It is currently published on a bilingual (English and Spanish) and continuous (one annual volume) basis, with e-ISSN: 2395-9177. Contributions are received only through the Open Journal System (OJS). All manuscripts, except reviews, are examined by a scientific committee and evaluated anonymously (double-blind modality) by peer experts.
Accepted articles will be published as “In process” once the editing and style correction process has been approved. This document will then be replaced by the final version.
