Founded in 1979, Textual. Analysis of the rural environment is today an annual, open-access, bilingual (English and Spanish) scientific journal published in electronic format by Chapingo Autonomous University (UACh, by its Spanish acronym). It oUers professionals and researchers concerned with rural issues, a platform facilitating the dissemination and discussion of original and unpublished research findings. In this regard, the journal’s objective is to provide an international space for the dissemination and discussion of research findings with a multidisciplinary perspective in the field of social sciences and related areas, with special emphasis on rurality in Mexico and Latin America.
The journal Textual is distinguished by its innovative approach to continuous publication, through which it issues a single issue per year. This dynamic model allows for the constant dissemination of relevant research and advances in the field of rural sociology, providing the academic and professional community with an up-to-date and accessible platform.
