Abstract
The Covid-19 pandemic accentuated different problems, product of the exhausting civilizing Western paradigms. In the field of interest of an institution such as the Autonomous University Chapingo, Institution of High Agricultural Academic Education, it highlighted the close bond between health and food, because at least three of the comorbidities associated to the death rate by the virus are related to inappropriate food consumption patterns based on industrialized products.
