Abstract
In line with the dominant trends in scientific research of the socio-economic, political and cultural dynamics and processes of the Mexican countryside, on this occasion, the 81st issue of the Textual Journal. Analysis of the rural milieu, is made up of a total of 8 articles, in which two topics of great interest and topicality are addressed. The first one refers to the emerging gender studies in rural areas of the country, showing, on the one hand, the enormous diversity of situations in which women’s daily lives unfold, as well as the processes through which the reproduction of their conditions of existence takes place and, on the other hand, showing some of the recent experiences of struggle, empowerment and emancipation that are taking place in different regions and among various groups of female rural producers.
