Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
  • The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  • The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
  • Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  • The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  • The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.

Author Guidelines

  1. Acknowledgements should be after the last section of the body of the text. This information must have as title the word "Acknowledgements", or its equivalent in another language, in bold, size 12. The text of this information should be in size 12.

  2. References and citations. Only those materials cited in the text should be included, which should be prepared in APA 6 format. For the correct preparation of the bibliography, it is suggested to use the APA 6 Reference Guide. All references should include their doi (Data Object Identifier: www.doi.org), or in its absence, the electronic address where it is possible to consult the original citation.

  3. Bibliographic references should be in alphabetical order without paragraph line breaks, aligned to the left, in size 12.

  4. In case of citations with numerical order, the references should have the corresponding sequential number at the beginning.

  5. Appendices, annexes, glossaries and other materials should be included after the bibliographical references.
