The Revista Chapingo Serie Agricultura Tropical (RChSAT, by its Spanish acronym) is a scientific journal published since 2021 by the Chapingo Autonomous University.
The RChSAT aims to provide a space for the national and international dissemination and discussion of scientific research findings and unpublished technological developments related to improving the production and utilization of agricultural, livestock, and forestry activities in the tropics.
The journal accepts original and unpublished collaborations, written in Spanish or English, that have not been submitted (in part or in full) simultaneously to other national or international scientific publications.
Submitted manuscripts must address the following topics related to the tropics:
- Genetic improvement of plants or animals
- Animal, plant, or forage production
- Genetic resources
- Animal or plant nutrition
- Sustainability
- Rural communication
- Innovation in the Tropics
- Socioeconomic aspects
- Historical Issues
- Agricultural Education and Extension in Tropical areas
- Public Policy
- Other topics as recommended by the Journal’s Advisory Committee and Editorial Board.
